In the third-place game:

Villa Park 61, El Toro 60--Alan Verzani scored 17 points for Villa Park. Teammates Andy Olsen and Adam Keith each scored 10 points for the Spartans (6-3).

Ryan Store scored 19 points for El Toro (7-3). Teammate Justin Butler scored 17 points.

In consolation games:

No. 4 Sonora 84, Lakewood Mayfair 68--Jeff Berokoff scored 28 points and Greg Vecchione had 16 assists, a school record for Sonora (8-2). Sonora outscored Mayfair (5-4) by 10 points in the second and fourth quarters.

Cypress 60, Valencia 34--Trent Weaver scored 19 points and Devin Patrick had 12 for Cypress. Valencia (2-7) was led by Danny Ortega with 18.

In the Arroyo Grande Tournament:

No. 6 Ocean View 63, Arroyo Grande 33--Tony Downs had 12 points and nine assists as Ocean View won the third-place game. Teammate David Hatch had 12 points and nine rebounds.

Freshman Phillip Johnson scored 14 points for Arroyo Grande.

In the Catalina Classic:

Anaheim 92, Julian 76--Tru Nguyen had 30 points and Shu Todoroki had 26 points to lead Anaheim to the tournament championship. Jesus Salcedo scored 25 points and had 17 rebounds for the Colonists (6-5).

In the Gary Raya boys’ tournament:

El Dorado 56, Aliso Niguel 27--Mike Garnter, the tournament MVP, scored 21 points as El Dorado (7-3) won the championship game. Teammate Ryan Carlos scored 15 points for the Golden Hawks.

J.J. Sola had eight points for Aliso Niguel (6-5).

Esperanza 72, Canyon Country Canyon 66--Jason Coleman scored 23 points as Esperanza rallied to win the third-place game. The Aztecs trailed at halftime, 36-31.

Kevin Brown scored 11 points for Esperanza.

In the Troy tournament:

Troy 73, La Puente Bishop Amat 46--Jerry Inzunza scored 27 points for Troy (10-2) in the title game. Scott Blake scored 19 points and Mike Draves had 11 assists for the Warriors. Troy gave up only six points in the first quarter to Bishop Amat (8-3).

In the Iolani (Hawaii) Prep Classic:

Canyon 77, Okinawa 39--Canyon outscored Okinawa, 21-2, in the first quarter. Canyon (8-1) plays in the consolation championship on Monday.

In the Maui Invitational:

Los Alamitos 70, Chula Vista East Lake 59--Matt Komer scored 21 points and grabbed nine rebounds for Los Alamitos in a late game Friday night to advance the Griffins. Ryan Ellis added 12 points and six rebounds for the Griffins (3-4).

The Griffins were to face Paso Robles in the championship game late Saturday.
