Saddleback Football Pays for Idle Week

Share

The tumble in the rankings Saddleback took without playing, let alone losing, is proof of the worthlessness of early season football polls.

Saddleback started the season ranked eighth in the nation by the J.C. Grid-Wire but fell out of the top 25.

The Gauchos fell from second to third in the state rankings and from first to second in the Southland poll. All this after having an open date the first week of the season.
