Burroughs 17, La Canada 14--Randy Beckman’s 21-yard touchdown run midway through the third quarter lifted the Indians at Burroughs.
Burroughs quarterback Chris Santoyo completed 14 of 26 passes for 184 yards after relieving starter Ryan Sullivan midway through the first quarter. Sullivan left the game after completing two of four for 19 yards.
Glen Adriatico gave Burroughs (2-1) a 7-0 lead on a 67-yard punt return early the first quarter.
