Paul Sends Pierce to 20th Straight Loss
Bryan Paul passed for four touchdowns and ran for another to lead West L.A. College to a 33-13 victory over Pierce in a Western State Conference game at West L.A. on Saturday afternoon. It was the 20th consecutive loss for Pierce (0-2).
Paul, a former Moorpark High and Valley College quarterback, threw touchdown passes of 20, 12, 56 and 15 yards in three quarters for the Oilers (2-1). He completed nine of 19 passes for 207 yards. His 15-yard touchdown run came in the first quarter.
Brahma quarterback Dan McMullen completed 23 of 34 passes for 220 yards and two touchdowns.
Bruce Johnson caught both scoring passes, a 10-yard reception in the first quarter and a 12-yard catch in the fourth.
Johnson had six receptions for 50 yards.
