* El Toro at Corona del Mar, 5:30 p.m. today: El Toro, ranked ninth in the county, lost its only league match to Newport Harbor, so the Chargers and second-ranked Corona del Mar are tied for second in league with fourth-ranked Santa Margarita. Greg Burden and Corona del Mar need to win this one since they wrap up the first round of league play against top-ranked Newport Harbor April 21.

* Marina at Esperanza, 5 p.m. today: Balance is the buzzword in the Sunset League with fifth-ranked Marina and 10th-ranked Esperanza tied with unranked Los Alamitos for first. Sophomore outside hitter Jeff Wooton leads the Vikings in today’s key road match.

* Servite at Ocean View, 5 p.m. today: This is Servite’s second consecutive tough league match, after Wednesday’s victory over Tustin. Senior middle blocker Mike Deal helped Servite defeat Ocean View in the Division II final of the Orange County Championships.
