Villa Park 3, Santa Ana Valley 1--Erick Helenihi of Villa Park (6-4, 4-0) and Koa Bartlett of Santa Ana Valley each had 17 kills in the Spartans’ 15-8, 15-12, 7-15, 15-8 victory.

In the Empire League:

El Dorado 3, Kennedy 0--Matt Peacock had 22 kills to lead El Dorado (13-1, 9-0) to a 15-13, 15-11, 16-14 victory.

Valencia 3, Loara 0--Danny Ortega had 14 kills in a victory for host Valencia, 15-4, 15-13, 15-4. The Tigers are 13-2, 8-1 in league.

Nehemiah Pull had 10 kills for Loara (7-6, 5-4).
