Chino Defeats Chino Hills Ayala in Division II

Andrew Saucedo scored three touchdowns as Chino defeated Chino Hills Ayala, 24-0, in a Southern Section Division II semifinal Friday night at Cal State Fullerton.

Chino (13-0) has won 26 consecutive games.

The Cowboys will play for the title against the winner of tonight’s game between Compton Dominguez and Diamond Bar.

DIVISION III

Jon Montez completed six of 12 passes for 81 yards and three touchdowns as Santa Fe Springs St. Paul advanced with a 49-19 victory over Valencia.

Valencia running back Manuel White came into the game with 1,838 yards and 20 touchdowns, but St. Paul held him under 100 yards and the Swordsmen forced seven turnovers.

St. Paul (12-1) will play for the title against the winner of tonight’s game between Newhall Hart and Alemany.

DIVISION VII

Senior wide receiver Steve Stevenson returned an interception 65 yards for a touchdown and rushed for two other scores as Charter Oak defeated Bell Gardens, 28-7, at Charter Oak.

Charter Oak (9-2-1), the Miramonte League champion, advanced to the final where the Chargers will play the winner of tonight’s game between Hacienda Heights Los Altos and Harvard-Westlake.

DIVISION XI

Davion Doby gained 207 yards and scored three touchdowns as Santa Monica St. Monica defeated Calabasas, 42-22, at St. Bernard.

James Dunn caught seven passes for 81 yards and two touchdowns for St. Monica, which will play for the title against the winner of tonight’s game between Carpinteria and St. Bernard.

DIVISION XIII

Senior running back Joe Ramos scored on runs of 16 and five yards as Redlands Arrowhead Christian defeated Ambassador Christian, 12-6, at Arrowhead Christian.

Arrowhead Christian will play Boron or Mammoth for the title.

EIGHT-MAN LARGE

Jacob Lake scored three touchdowns to lead Arcadia Rio Hondo Prep to a 51-7 victory over Riverside Christian in the championship game at Rio Hondo Prep.
