Hariton, Quisenberry Fuel Calabasas, 59-38

Spencer Hariton scored 16 points and Kevin Quisenberry added 15 for Calabasas High, which cruised to a 59-38 victory over Westlake in a semifinal of the Saugus boys’ basketball tournament Friday night at Saugus High.

Calabasas (3-0) will play Oxnard, which won the pool-play bracket, in the championship game at 7 tonight.

Quisenberry made three three-point baskets, including his first two shots, and Hariton added two three-point baskets of his own and the Coyotes opened up a 19-2 lead in the first six minutes.

Westlake (2-1) used an 8-0 run to close to within 24-14 by halftime.

Guard Albert Kim of Westlake had 10 points and seven assists. He scored seven of his points in the fourth quarter.

Jake DeGennaro added seven points and five assists for Westlake, which will play Quartz Hill for third place at 5:30 tonight.

Forward Steve McKeown scored 10 points and pulled down 10 rebounds and Mike Goldman added eight points for Calabasas, which put the game away with a 7-0 run to begin the fourth quarter.

Saugus 76, Alemany 32--Nic Echevestre scored 12 points and Kurt DeMaio, Mike Grisanti and Jerome Edwards each added 11 points for the Centurions, who had a 23-1 advantage at the free-throw line.

Saugus (1-2) made 23 of 26 free throws. Alemany made one of three. Reny Maynard scored 13 points for Alemany (0-3).

Highland 68, Antelope Valley 63--Gerrome Clipper scored 17 points and John Banks and Sir Doyle Duplechan each added 11 points to help the Bulldogs (2-1) win.

Adam Ruskowski scored 15 points and Kristopher Stiles added 11 points for Antelope Valley (1-2).

Royal 64, Oxnard 53--Matt Janousek scored 16 points and Branden Foster had 14 points for Royal (1-2).

Jacob Galloway led the Yellowjackets (2-1) with 17 points. Damian Tafoya had 14 points.

Quartz Hill 62, Canyon 50--Jason Tomlin had 16 points and six assists, and Tony Johnson added 11 points and six steals for the Rebels (2-1) in a pool-play victory. Jason French scored 13 points and Anthony Falasca had 12 for Canyon (1-2).
