Calvary Chapel Among Top-Seeded
Calvary Chapel and Santa Ana are the top-seeded teams in the Southern Section team dual-meet wrestling pairings announced Thursday.
All meets begin at 10 a.m. Saturday.
In Division I, at Ventura High: Calvary Chapel will face Oxnard Hueneme in the first round. Other first-round Division I pairings involving teams from Orange County are: No. 2 Anaheim vs. El Monte; No. 3 El Modena vs. Riverside Ramona; Trabuco Hills vs. Indio; Santa Ana Valley vs. Ventura; Brethren Christian vs. Brawley Union and Dana Hills vs. Oxnard Rio Mesa.
In Division III at Santa Ana High: The Saints face Troy; No. 2 Laguna Hills faces Lake Elsinore Temescal Canyon and Saddleback faces Arroyo Grande.
In Division II at Temecula Valley: Irvine meets Pico Rivera El Rancho; No. 4 Loara vs. Apple Valley; Fountain Valley vs. Montebello and El Toro vs. Thousand Oaks.
In Division IV at Palmdale Highland: Santiago and Los Amigos are the only Orange County teams competing. Santiago will face Yucca Valley and Loara takes on La Puente.
