Sonora’s Jason Ross, an All-Freeway League center, has orally committed to Columbia, according to Sonora football Coach Mark Takkinen. Ross is 6 foot 3 and 265 pounds.

Felicia Madrigal, a sweeper for the Cypress women’s soccer team, has signed with Nevada Las Vegas, the college announced Monday. Madrigal is from Huntington Beach High.
