Hart Hits Road, Ends Up With 5-0 Victory at Home

Share

La Canada and Hart highs got off to a late start in a nonleague girls’ tennis match Tuesday because of a scheduling mix-up that caused the Indians to drive to La Canada and back to Hart, where the match was finally played.

That extra time on the bus didn’t seem to bother the Indians, who came away with a 5-0 victory shortened by darkness.

Instead of the normal round-robin, three singles players from each school and three doubles teams all played one match. The final singles match was halted by darkness.
