Paraclete, Village Christian in Final

Paraclete and Village Christian highs will meet Thursday night for the championship of the region’s only girls’ basketball league tournament.

Paraclete defeated Pasadena Marshall, 63-36, and Village Christian outlasted L.A. Baptist, 43-40 at L.A. Baptist on Tuesday night in the Alpha League semifinals.

Erika Hernandez had 19 points and Tiffany Forrest added 15 points for Paraclete (17-7).

Karri Keeble had 16 points and seven steals for Village Christian (12-12).

Paraclete and Village Christian split two league games this season.

Notre Dame 62, Louisville 51--Sierra Hauser-Price scored 14 of her 30 points in the second quarter to help the Knights get back into a Mission League game at Notre Dame.

Notre Dame (15-7, 6-3) trailed, 18-2, midway through the first quarter, but pulled to within 33-30 at halftime.

Megan Wiser scored 21 points and Sarah Kelso added 12 for Louisville.

Alemany 57, Chaminade 33--Kristina Rodriguez scored 10 points for the Indians (20-4, 9-0), who clinched the Mission League title at Chaminade.

Harvard-Westlake 86, Flintridge Sacred Heart 24--Rebecca Agonafir and Lyndsey Medders each scored 13 points for the Wolverines in a Mission League game at Harvard-Westlake (18-7, 7-2).

Crescenta Valley 43, Pasadena 34--Sinnamonn Garrett scored 16 points for the Falcons (15-9, 5-4), who pulled into a tie for second place in the Pacific League at Pasadena.

Muir 53, Hoover 37--Tenie Hartounian scored 16 points and Razan Ezzeddin added 15 for the Tornadoes (9-14, 3-6) in a Pacific League loss at Hoover.

Antelope Valley 50, Palmdale 42--The Antelopes (18-4, 7-2) clinched a share of the Golden League championship at Antelope Valley.

Littlerock 55, Lancaster 33--Kristel Jones and Jolene Haywood each scored 16 points for the Lobos (17-8, 6-3) in a Golden League game at Littlerock.

Quartz Hill 75, Highland 56--Sharonne Herbert scored 23 points for the Rebels in a Golden League victory at Highland.

McKena Richardson added 16 points and Lannette Richardson scored 15 for Quartz Hill (16-7, 6-3).

Hart 53, Saugus 28--Amanda Patton had 10 points and six assists for the Indians (10-13, 4-5), who moved into a third-place tie with the Centurions (10-13, 4-5) in a Foothill League game at Saugus.

Burbank 62, Burroughs 58--Michelle Duncan had 15 points, 13 rebounds and 12 blocked shots for the Bulldogs (14-11, 3-6) in a Foothill League victory at Burbank.

Montclair Prep 54, Pacific Hills 46--Eshaya Murphy had 26 points and 16 rebounds for the Mounties (18-6, 5-4), who upset the No. 6-ranked team in Division V-AA in a Delphic League game at Montclair Prep.

Calabasas 62, Nordhoff 55--Alison Entin scored 22 points, Heather Bell had 18 rebounds and the Coyotes (7-12, 3-4) moved into third place in the Frontier League at Calabasas.
