BOYS’ BASKETBALL PLAYOFF ROUNDUP

Moorpark 65, Anaheim Canyon 57--Todd Tomlinson scored 22 of his 24 points in the second half and the Musketeers (18-9) won a Division II-AA game at Canyon.

Tomlinson made 14 of 18 free throws and Jeff Illions hit 11 of 16 free throws to score 15 points. Moorpark was 28 of 39 from the line.

DIVISION I-AA

Crescenta Valley 58, Leuzinger 57--Brandon Conner missed a driving layup at the buzzer for host Leuzinger, preserving the second-round victory for Crescenta Valley.

Conner made the first of two free throws with seven seconds remaining to pull the Olympians (18-8) within one point. He missed the second and grabbed the rebound, but the clock never started. Officials awarded Luezinger the ball out of bounds.

Sophomore guard Chris Tarne, who scored 27 points for Crescenta Valley (23-5), made one of two free throws with 15 seconds left to give the Falcons the lead. Jimmy Goffredo, who averages 14.6 points for Crescenta Valley, was held to two points.
