Led by the bruising inside play of forward Ken Plummer and the scoring of guard Dan Galvanoni, Moorpark will begin the Southern California Regionals today.

The No. 5-seeded Raiders (23-7), co-champions of the Western State Conference, face No. 28 Southwestern (14-15), the third-place team from the Pacific Coast Conference, at 7 p.m. at Moorpark.

Valley (23-8), seeded No. 6, hosts Orange Coast (13-16).

Lesley DuBois has been the most consistent player for The Master’s women’s basketball team.

DuBois averages 18.4 points and 9.5 rebounds for the Mustangs (13-11), including a 31-point effort against Biola. She also grabbed 19 rebounds in a victory Christian Heritage.
