Taft 27, Cleveland 0--Rick Clausen completed 21 of 33 passes for 274 yards and two touchdowns at Taft.

Lee Marks carried 17 times for 125 yards and two touchdowns, including a 10-yard run with 5:42 remaining in the first quarter to give Taft (7-2, 3-1) a 13-0 lead.

Clausen connected with Steve Smith for a 15-yard touchdown pass and Waylon Witcher for a 31-yard score with 2:15 to play in the third quarter.

Clausen, a senior transfer from Alemany, has passed for 28 touchdowns and a region-high 2,653 yards this season.

Matthew Clark of Cleveland (6-3, 2-2) had 123 yards in 30 carries.

Antwine Barfield completed two of 17 passes for 56 yards and had three passes intercepted, including two by Smith.

Taft outgained Cleveland, 387 yards to 213.
