El Toro 14, Encino Crespi 1--Brett McCleave had five goals on his way to breaking the single-season scoring record for host El Toro (18-11). McCleave’s third goal gave him 141 for the season, which breaks Alan Basso’s 1994 mark of 140.

El Toro will play Villa Park Tuesday in the second round.

Foothill 18, Laguna Hills 4--Brian Alexander and Wes Fox had four goals each for the third-seeded Knights (17-11). Goalie Ian Elliott had 10 saves for Foothill, which will play North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake Tuesday.

Newport Harbor 20, Long Beach Millikan 9--The top-seeded Sailors (23-5) took a 10-1 lead in the first quarter. Ryan Cook scored seven goals.
