7:30 TONIGHT HUNTINGTON BEACH HIGH

Servite gets a second chance against Edison after coming up a couple of yards short in the teams’ first meeting in Week 5. The Friars were stuffed on two crucial fourth-and-short situations that, had they been converted, could have altered the outcome of the Chargers’ 35-33 victory. Both teams will again turn to their ground games, which gained the bulk of the yardage when they last met. Servite is expected to rely upon running back Justin Domineck. Last week, Domineck rushed for 106 yards and scored two touchdowns against Santa Margarita. Servite

Los Alamitos (8-2) vs. Rialto Eisenhower (9-1)

7:30 TONIGHT EISENHOWER HIGH

Los Alamitos enters the playoffs as the No. 3 team from its league for the first time since 1990, when the Griffins lost in the first round to Newhall Hart. Again, they are underdogs to third-seeded Eisenhower, which is led by quarterback Idris Moss. But Los Alamitos Coach John Barnes isn’t intimidated. “It’s not like this is the first time this season we’ve played a tough team,” he said. True. The Griffins did beat Serra League champion Santa Margarita. But they’ll need running backs Adam Nauta and Joe Garcia to increase their output to beat these Eagles.
