Jennifer Saleaumua had 19 kills as Chula Vista Bonita Vista defeated Manhattan Beach Mira Costa, 15-10, 15-12, 15-11, to win the Southern California Division I regional final at Bonita Vista.
Bonita Vista will play Stockton St. Mary’s in the state championship match Saturday at Cypress College.
In other regional finals:
La Habra d. Lakewood St. Joseph, 15-11, 15-8, 15-17, 15-6--The Highlanders advanced to the Division II state championship match with the victory at La Habra.
La Habra plays either Mountain View St. Francis or Palo Alto for the state title.
North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake d. San Diego University, 15-8, 15-3, 15-6--Courtney Schultz had 18 kills to lead the Wolverines to victory in the Division III final at Harvard-Westlake.
Harvard-Westlake will play either Los Gatos or Sonoma Valley for the state title.
Los Angeles Marymount d. Thousand Oaks La Reina, 17-15, 15-8, 16-14--Christina Hinds had 17 kills to lead Marymount in the Division IV final at La Reina.
Marymount plays Atherton Menlo in the state final.
