In another South Coast League meet:

Trabuco Hills 81, San Clemente 52--San Clemente junior Marquita Taylor improved her county-best time in the 100 meters, winning in 11.9. Taylor also won the 200 in 25.0.

Heather Nicholls won four events for host Trabuco Hills, taking the 100 (16.6) and 300 hurdles (49.2), the long jump (15- 1/2) and the triple jump (31-6 1/2).

In the Golden West League:

Santa Ana 95, Ocean View 33--The Saints (4-0 in league) clinched the league title as Marlen Arguero won the 200 (27.6), the 800 (2:21.9) and ran on winning 400 and 1,600 relay teams.

In the Sea View League:

Aliso Niguel 69, Woodbridge 67--The Wolverines (4-1, 3-0) won the final event, the 1,600 relay in a county-leading 4:03.6 to overtake Woodbridge. Julia Pederson ran the first leg of the relay, followed by Lisa Sternberg, Kim Devine and Whitney Harrison.

In the Sunset League:

Esperanza 90, Los Alamitos 46--Annie Briggs was a double winner, taking the 100 (12.4) and 200 (26.5) for Esperanza.

In Empire League boys’ meets:

Cypress 98, Kennedy 38--Mike Hicks won the triple jump with a personal-best 44-2 3/4, second best in the county this season.

Katella 69, Loara 67--David Giang posted the best pole vault mark in the county this season at 15-1 1/2 for Katella (3-1).

In the Orange League:

Valencia 74, Brea Olinda 60--Juan Robles won the 1,600 in 4:38 and the 3,200 in 10:04 and Keinan Briggs swept the high jump, long jump and triple jump for Valencia (4-0 in league).

In the South Coast League:

Mission Viejo 101, El Toro 35--Tom Rodriguez ran the 300 hurdles for the first time and won in 40.8 seconds. He also won the 400 in 50.1 and Jacob Gustafsson won the 800 (1:58.4) and 1,600 (4:30) for the Diablos (4-0 in league).

In the Sunset League:

Esperanza 87, Los Alamitos 49--Travis Jones, who has the second-best mark in the county, won the shotput with a 56-9 throw and bettered his previous effort by 3 1/2 inches.
