Burroughs hosts Arroyo in a nonleague girls’ game on Feb. 3, the same night Buena, ranked No. 1 in the nation, hosts No. 3 Narbonne in the biggest girls’ game in region history.
“We figure we can take the overflow crowd from the Buena-Narbonne game,” Burroughs Coach Doug Nicol quipped. “Anyone who can prove they went to Buena’s pre-game barbecue but couldn’t get into the game can come to ours and get in free.”
Burroughs is happy to be playing anyone at home.
The Indians have played 10 consecutive Foothill League games on the road, dating to last season.
