Orange County teams won nine titles in last weekend’s Southern Section soccer and basketball championships; Mater Dei won the lone boys’ basketball title while Troy, San Clemente and Brea won in the girls’ divisions. Soccer winners included Aliso Niguel, Santa Margarita, Mission Viejo, Brea and Mater Dei.
