Basketball Leaders

The Times will publish cumulative boys’ and girls’ basketball statistics for all City and Southern Section teams every Wednesday, beginning next week. Please contact us before noon each Tuesday--Monday, if possible--with your players’ names and numbers for all games played through the previous week.

Three ways to report statistics:

* E-mail: stats@latimes.com

* Fax: If your school is located in the San Fernando Valley or Ventura, Santa Barbara or San Luis Obispo counties, fax to 818-772-3179. If you are in Orange County, fax to 714-966-5663. All other areas, including Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino and Kern counties, should fax to 213-237-7876.

* Phone: If your school is located in the San Fernando Valley or Ventura, Santa Barbara or San Luis Obispo counties, call 1-800-528-4637, Ext. 23345. If you are in Orange County, call 1-800-528-4637, Ext. 65904. All other areas, including Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino and Kern counties, should call 1-800-528-4637, Ext. 77151.

The statistical categories, in order they should be reported:

Games played, field goals attempted and made, three-point field goals attempted and made, free throws attempted and made, rebounds, assists, steals, blocked shots and scoring.

If you keep some of these categories and not others, please call us with what you have. We will, however, need games played in order to formulate averages.
