6 Arrested in Assault and Abduction of Man
Four men and two boys were arrested early Tuesday on suspicion of assault and kidnapping, Burbank police said.
Daniel Long, 18, of Sun Valley and Burbank residents Genaro Miranda, 24, Robert Michael Steinmeyer, 18, and Ethan Hess, 18, are being held in lieu of $100,000 bail each, said Sgt. Bill Taylor, a police spokesman.
The two boys, ages 13 and 16, were taken to juvenile hall, he said.
The 18-year-old male victim told police he went to a house on Maple Avenue about 11 p.m. Monday where a group of males apprehended him. He was assaulted, tied up and robbed before being released early Tuesday, Taylor said.
Police declined to release the victim’s name, saying there may be more arrests.
