GIRLS’ GOLF

Only Torrance, which defeated South Torrance, 429-449, had a match last week. The other teams all had league finals for individuals. Because these are final regular-season rankings, the results of the Central Divisional championship, played Monday, have no bearing on the rankings. The Northern and Southern Divisional championships will be played today.

Marymount, seeded No. 1 in Division IV-AA, and San Juan Capistrano St. Margaret’s, No. 1 in Division IV-A, should dominate their lower-enrollment divisions on the way to an inevitable meeting in the state Division IV playoffs.
