Freshman Brittany Spears’ putback with 2.3 seconds left capped a 17-point comeback as Pasadena defeated Pasadena Muir, 42-41.

Lisa Yee’s free throw with four seconds left led L.A. Lincoln over Eagle Rock, 31-30.

L.A. Ribet Academy’s Mia Carroll scored 32 points, and her three-point shot with two seconds left defeated Glendale Adventist, 47-46.

Amanda Afaese’s layup with three seconds left gave Temecula Valley a 50-49 victory over Moreno Valley Rancho Verde.

Lindsey Pluimer scored 27 points, including 16 of her team’s final 22 points, in San Clemente’s 53-51 overtime victory over Fullerton Troy.

LOOKING AHEAD

San Bernardino dropped from the top 25 because it lost to San Bernardino Cajon and Yucaipa. Second chances begin Wednesday at Cajon, followed by a home game Friday against Yucaipa. Also Wednesday, Sylmar is at Sepulveda Monroe in the City Valley Mission League, and Newbury Park is at Simi Valley Royal in the Marmonte.

In the only meeting of the week between ranked teams, No. 14 Santa Margarita plays at No. 13 Santa Ana Mater Dei in a Serra League game Thursday.

On Friday, Rancho Cucamonga is at Etiwanda in the Baseline League, and Valencia is at Burbank Burroughs in the Foothill League.
