Missing 15-Year-Old Girl Might Be a Runaway
From Times Staff and Wire Reports
A missing 15-year-old Santa Ana girl originally thought to have been kidnapped might be a runaway, police said Tuesday.
Marisol Cortez was reported missing Monday night by her mother, Santa Ana Police Sgt. Carlos Rojas said. The mother said the girl had the mental capacity of a 6-year-old, Rojas said, but that appears to be false.
Marisol is described as 5 feet tall and 175 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information is asked to call (714) 245-8665.
