Teenager Shot, Killed in Apparent Gang Rivalry

An 18-year-old man was killed Saturday after exchanging gang signs with rival gang members, authorities said.
The man was shot about 2 a.m. as he fled in his car after an argument at a party in the 40000 block of 174th Street in an unincorporated area of Los Angeles County, said Sheriff’s Deputy David Cervantes.
The victim, whose identity was not released, died later at a hospital. A female companion was not injured, deputies said.
