* Jeffrey Osborne, Chatsworth: Made five three-pointers and scored all of his 21 points in the second half as the host Chancellors (2-0) overcame a 35-17 halftime deficit for a 61-57 nonleague win over Sun Valley Poly.

High school basketball -- A Top Performers item in the High Schools scoreboard in Thursday’s Sports section listed Corey Duncan as a member of the North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake boys’ team. Duncan plays for Reseda Cleveland.

* Matt Kanne, Anaheim Servite: Scored a career-high 27 points on nine three-point baskets in the Friars’ 75-41 Anaheim UHSD tournament victory over Cypress.

* Corey Duncan, North Hollywood Harvard-Westlake: Scored 24 points to help stave off an upset in a 65-63 Ocean View tournament win over Reseda Cleveland (0-4). The Wolverines (6-0), ranked No. 7 by The Times, were outscored 47-29 in the second half.

* Timothy Thompson, L.A. King-Drew: The sophomore recorded two double-doubles in one day, going for a career-high 16 points and 13 rebounds in a 112-33 Crosstown League win over L.A. Marlton, and then 10 points and 10 rebounds in a 101-60 Hollywood tournament victory over Lake Balboa Valley Alternative. The Eagles now have three 100-point games this week.

* Derrick Strings, Pasadena Marshall: Scored 33 points in a 75-53 Alhambra tournament win over San Gabriel Gabrielino, giving the junior guard 30 or more points in each of the six games for the Eagles (5-1).
