Surfrider Beach closed after sewage spill

Los Angeles County public health department officials Friday closed Malibu’s Surfrider Beach after a sewage spill in Malibu Lagoon.
The beach will be closed for a quarter-mile on each side of the spot where the lagoon drains into the ocean. It is expected to be closed until Monday.
