Jenn Birmingham of Millikan shot a three-over-par 75 at The Lakes Country Club and earned medalist honors on a card-off with Mariko Makabe. Makabe also shot a 75 to lead Peninsula, which set a tournament record for lowest team score, breaking its own record of 430 set last year. Alana Erlandson of Palm Desert and Peninsula’s Jane Lee each finished with a four-over-par 76 to earn third and fourth.
