Jenn Birmingham of Millikan shot a three-over-par 75 at The Lakes Country Club and earned medalist honors on a card-off with Mariko Makabe. Makabe also shot a 75 to lead Peninsula, which set a tournament record for lowest team score, breaking its own record of 430 set last year. Alana Erlandson of Palm Desert and Peninsula's Jane Lee each finished with a four-over-par 76 to earn third and fourth.

Rachel Atienza of Alemany (0-1) shot a 7-over-par 38 to capture medalist honors at El Cariso Golf Course. Kelli Lowers of Burroughs (1-0) shot a 46 to lead Burroughs.

Junior Jessie Fossey shot a 46 at par-37 Yorba Linda County Club to pace host Esperanza (1-0). Villa Park's Hannah Shin won medalist honors with a four-over 41.

Freshman Amanda Hale shot a seven over par-36 to earn Medalist honors for host Irvine (1-0) at Oak Creek Golf Club.

Despite Jennie Lee shooting a one-under par 35 at Mile Square Park for Edison, University wins its season opener.

Dorothy Lee and Mindy Kimura both earned medal honors, each shooting a par 37, to lead visiting Keppel (1-0) over Arcadia (0-1) at Santa Anita golf course.

Erin Stashi's five-over 41 led Palm Desert (1-0) at the SCGA Members Course in Temecula. Chante Markley and Brianna Wright shot 39's to share medalist honors for Murrieta Valley (0-1).
