Top high school football games on Friday night:

Gardena Serra (5-2, 2-1) at Mission Hills Alemany (6-1, 2-1), 7:30 p.m.

The winner of this Mission League game is in position to battle Bishop Amat and Crespi for the league title. Alemany gets running back Dominic Davis returning from an ankle injury. Serra needed its bye last week to get healthy too. Serra’s defense is filled with fast, physical players. Alemany’s offense didn’t adjust well to Bishop Amat’s blitzing two weeks ago.
