Baseball: San Fernando knocks off El Camino Real

Alonzo Garcia allowed six hits and struck out seven in San Fernando’s 7-2 win over El Camino Real on Saturday.
Garcia also had two hits and two RBIs. Rafael Salcedo added two hits and an RBI.
Kennedy defeated South Torrance, 2-0. Noah Valenzuela threw 5 1/3 innings. Alex Rangel got the save.
Chase Aldridge had two hits and two RBIs and Ezra Steinberg added two hits in Harvard-Westlake’s 8-5 win over Agoura.
Long Beach Wilson defeated Cypress, 3-1. Josh Goldberg allowed one run in six innings. Jackson Foss and Max Cauble each had two hits.
Chatsworth defeated Santa Barbara, 11-1. John Cashman allowed five hits. Jeryd Reuss had three hits. Simi Valley defeated Poly, 6-1. Turner Nelson had two hits and two RBIs.
Santa Monica improved to 21-4 with a 7-6 win over La Mirada in eight innings. Matthew Kassowitz had the game-winning RBI double.
Saugus defeated Palisades, 2-0. Caden Maher threw a four-hitter.
Lance Simpson threw a one-hitter in Orange Lutheran’s 9-0 win over Tustin. Garrett Calvert had two hits and two RBIs. In the second game, Orange Lutheran won, 8-6. Calvert had two more hits.
Royal defeated North Hollywood, 6-2. Warren defeated Newbury Park, 11-6. Steve Nuno, Christian Altamirano and Junior Ruiz each had three hits. Warren is 20-4.
Westlake defeated Taft, 9-6. Luke Dykstra and Adam Terrazas each had two hits and two RBIs. Birmingham defeated Garfield, 7-2. Justin Rorick had two hits and two RBIs.
Granada Hills defeated Calabasas, 10-5. Matt Nash contributed three hits.
El Segundo defeated Glenn, 3-1. Mitch Thompson allowed one hit in five innings.
Bishop Amat defeated West Torrance, 5-1. Andrew Eppenbach threw 5 2/3 innings with five strikeouts. Sergio Robles had two hits and two stolen bases.
Gahr defeated Oaks Christian, 3-0. Octavio Lara threw five shutout innings. Loyola defeated Gardena Serra, 4-3. Quinn Brodey struck out four in two shutout innings of relief. Cole Malloy had two hits.
Aaron Fernandez threw a four-hitter in Narbonne’s 7-1 win over Marshall. Isaiah Flowers had two hits for the Gauchos (20-5).
