Baseball: Sabol, Stephen, McKenna, Danner, Greenfield excel in North Carolina
A group of Southern California high school baseball players made the all-develpment team at the 17U National Team Trials in North Carolina on Friday.
They include pitcher Hagen Danner of Huntington Beach, outfielder Aaron Greenfield of Westchester, outfielder Alex McKenna of Alemany, catcher Blake Sabol of Aliso Niguel and outfielder Josh Stephen of Mater Dei.
Danner, McKenna and Stephen were invited to the 2015 Tournament of Stars, which helps selections for the U18 national team trials.
Sabol was one of two players who earned an invite to the U18 national team trials for next year.
