Basketball: Whittier Christian’s Sherwin Durham receives positive coaching award

Sherwin Durham, who has coached boys’ and girls’ basketball at Whittier Christian, has been named the recipient of the Positive Coach Alliance’s Double-Goal Coach Award for his positive impact on youth athletes.
He’s one of 25 national honorees given to coaches “who strive to win while also pursuing the more important goal of teaching life lessons through sports.”
Durham is a former member of the Harlem Globetrotters.
