Boys’ basketball: Crean Lutheran upsets St. John Bosco, 82-76

Crean Lutheran pulled off an upset in the opening round of the North Orange County tournament on Monday night, knocking off St. John Bosco, 82-76.
Maximus Bo and Michael Bagatourian each had 26 points. St. John Bosco, which won the Corona del Mar tournament last week, received 29 points form J.J. Watson.
Laguna Beach received 39 points from Blake Burzell in a 65-61 win over Los Alamitos.
Van Nuys defeated Reseda, 66-40. Tyree Winborn and Matthew Sykes each had 22 points.
Sean Estes scored 32 points in La Canada’s 82-30 win over Hollywood.
Crenshaw defeated Hawkins, 83-39. Lamar Harris scored 30 points and Chris Kendrick 26.
La Mirada defeated La Habra, 80-40. Oxnard defeated Moorpark, 81-37.
Oak Park defeated Agoura, 58-23. Wes Slajchert scored 16 points.
Orange Lutheran defeated Cerritos, 79-63. Chris Williams scored 22 points.
Corona Centennial defeated Carter, 108-39. Jalen Clark had 25 points.
Gahr defeated Servite, 53-51. Devyian Roberson led Servite with 14 points.
