Boys’ basketball: Crossroads goes to Las Vegas to hire Chad Beeten as head coach
Chad Beeten guided Clark High in Las Vegas to three state titles in basketball. Now he’s coming to Santa Monica to be the head coach at Crossroads, one of the many schools trying to succeed in the powerful Gold Coast League.
Beeten is known for his strong defensive teams. Crossroads plays against the likes of Sierra Canyon, Viewpoint, Brentwood and Windward.
He also has a background in club ball and junior college. He spent six years at Clark.
