Boys’ basketball: K.J. Smith is transferring to Mater Dei
K.J. Smith, the point guard at Oaks Christian and the son of former NBA player Kenny Smith, is transferring to Santa Ana Mater Dei, according to the Daily News.
He’ll be able to team up with Rex Pflueger and M.J. Cage on a team that needs to replace Stanley Johnson.
Smith will be a senior this fall.
