Football: Beware of Loyola’s class of 2016

Loyola is about to unleash its juniors-to-be on the football field, and the Cubs could do lots of damage in the fall, especially on defense.
Among the players to watch are receiver-defensive back David Long, receiver-defensive back Myles Bryant, receiver Jordan Riordan, running back-defensive back Daniel Tolbert, receiver-defensive back David Tolbert (twin brother), lineman Anthony Valdez and quarterback Tre Polamalu.
All received playing time on varsity as sophomores.
And making his varsity debut this fall will be sophomore-to-be Drake Beasley, a standout running back.
