Birmingham has put together a challenging nonleague schedule that includes Oaks Christian, Chaminade and Sherman Oaks Notre Dame, but Coach Jim Rose believes it will help his team prepare for West Valley League play.
The Patriots’ top player is junior running back Sterling Salguero, who demonstrated plenty of breakaway speed in rushing for 1,270 yards as a sophomore.
Ricky Clemons, a junior defensive back, has transferred in from St. Genevieve and shown he can be a standout in the secondary along with returnee Spencer Keyes.
