Football: Frankie Palmer is the 5-foot-10 QB who makes things happen

With six consecutive victories, Whittier La Serna (9-2) is going to be a tough team to beat in the Southeast Division, particularly with 5-foot-10 quarterback Frankie Palmer making plays.
Palmer ran for 94 yards and two touchdowns and passed for 121 yards and two touchdowns in a 55-7 victory over Burbank Burroughs.
He’s closing in on 2,000 yards passing and has 18 touchdown passes and four interceptions this season. Remember, La Serna knocked off Marmonte League champion Westlake earlier this season.
