When it comes to linebackers, Narbonne High has the makings of a trio few can match.

Juniors Raymond Scott and Darien Butler, along with senior Anthony Pandy, will be turned loose on defense to cause havoc. Pandy was a defensive end last season being switched to linebacker. Scott has committed to USC. Butler and Pandy also are highly regarded college prospects.

Senior Josh Brown, the younger brother of UCLA linebacker Jayon Brown, returns for his senior season at Long Beach Poly. He had 81 tackles as a junior.

Gardena Serra also has its share of top linebackers in Tysyn Parker and Merlin Robertson.

Colin Schooler of Mission Viejo has the speed and aggressiveness to be a standout. Fa’avae Fa’avae of Mater Dei had 11 sacks. Bo Calvert of Oaks Christian, a 6-foot-5 junior, is committed to USC.

Lamin Touray of Alemany is committed to Nevada. Junior Camron Pitcher is going to be a tackling machine for Corona Centennial. Watch out for Cameron Trimble of Westlake, Michael Whiteside of Sherman Oaks Notre Dame, John Stamos of Villa Park and K.J. Latu of Paraclete.
