Football: Linemen get to show off at Huntington Beach tourney
- Share via
The Huntington Beach passing tournament on Saturday at Huntington Beach High has a hot dog eating contest for linemen. So be prepared for lots of wet buns and hungry linemen devouring hot dogs.
For the skill-position players, there should be lots of good competition that begins at 8:45 a.m.
St. John Bosco, Crespi, Saugus and Tustin are in Pool A.
Santa Margarita, Mission Hills, Riverside King and Aliso Niguel are in Pool B.
Orange Lutheran, Tesoro, El Toro and San Clemente are in Pool C.
Bishop Amat, Huntington Beach, Riverside Poly and Buena Park are in Pool D.
Please save a hot dog for the poor sportswriter.
