Football: Three big names still waiting to announce college choice
Three big-time recruits _ linebacker Mique Juarez of North Torrance, defensive Jack Jones of Long Beach Poly and defensive back Brandon Burton of Gardena Serra _ have still not announced their college choices going into the final days before Wednesday’s signing day.
Burton is scheduled to make his announcement Tuesday night after 9 p.m. on ESPN.
Jones is scheduled for Wednesday afternoon at Long Beach Poly.
Juarez is making his announcement Wednesday afternoon at North Torrance.
UCLA is the favorite for Burton and Juarez. USC is the favorite for Jones.
