Girls’ volleyball: Taft defeats Palisades in five sets

In only its second match of the girls’ volleyball season, Taft left its fans with something to remember, coming through against Division I power Palisades to defeat the Dolphins, 25-20, 25-23, 23-25, 15-25, 15-3 in a wild match at Palisades.
Senior Andrea Bosnic led Taft with 22 kills. Lara Janjic added 18 kills and 14 digs.
Taft is the defending City Section Division II champion.
