Lacrosse: Corona del Mar is top boys’ team in rankings
Corona del Mar holds the No. 1 spot in the LAXPower boys’ rankings in Southern California lacrosse.
Foothill is No. 2, St. Margaret’s No. 3 and Palos Verdes No. 4.
Palos Verdes and No. 5 Loyola had quite a match earlier this week, with Palos Verdes winning, 6-5, on a game-winner by Aidan Westley.
Loyola was ranked No. 1 in the Los Angeles coaches’ poll. Palos Verdes was No. 2, Harvard-Westlake No. 3 and Westlake No. 4.
In the Los Angels girls’ coaches’ poll, Oak Park held the No. 1 spot, followed by Chaminade, Agoura and Redondo.
