Track: Zack Bornstein is Canadian Junior champion in decathlon
Oaks Christian’s football team is taking its mandatory dead period, but tight end Zack Bornstein was a little busy in Montreal over the weekend.
He won the Canadian Junior national track and field championship in the decathlon for athletes under 20 years old. He finished 458 points ahead of the second-place finisher.
He qualified for the Junior Pan-Am team that will compete in Colombia Aug. 23-24.
