Water polo: Loyola advances to Division 1 semifinals

Loyola earned a spot in the Southern Section Division 1 water polo semifinals on Saturday night with an 11-9 victory over Corona del Mar at USC.
Luca Milicevic led the Cubs with three goals.
Loyola will face top-seeded Santa Ana Mater Dei, a 21-7 quarterfinal winner over Long Beach Wilson, on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Irvine.
Defending champion Harvard-Westlake defeated Agoura, 14-4, with Luke Henriksson scoring six goals. Harvard-Westlake has been without standout player Ben Hallock for the last five matches (injury). He could return next week.
The Wolverines will face Huntington Beach in the semifinals at 5 p.m. in Irvine.
