Update: The Kings and Coyotes each have 96 points but the Kings are seeded behind the Coyotes because of the tiebreaker adopted this season. Shootout wins are subtracted from each team’s total, leaving the Kings with 36 wins and the Coyotes with 37. Goaltender Jonathan Quick, who was pulled after giving up four goals on 16 shots in the Kings’ 6-1 loss at San Jose on Monday, will start against the Coyotes. The Kings were 0 for 3 on the power play against the Sharks and are 0 for 10 over their last four games. The Coyotes haven’t played since Friday, when they lost to Colorado in a shootout. They’re 8-2-2 in their last 12 games.
