Baseball’s All-Star game is coming to Arizona this week for the first time, leaving Florida as the only state with a major league franchise that has not staged the game. Times staff writer Kevin Baxter looks at the last time each MLB franchise played host to the event:

Florida; 2000; Marlins stripped of game when NL president says it should be played in a newer ballpark.
Houston; 2004; Astros’ Roger Clemens gives up six first-inning runs in 9-4 AL win.
Angels; 2010; Jonathan Broxton — remember him? — gets save as NL wins for first time in 14 years, 3-1.
