Update: The Bears appear to be the class of the Pac-12 Conference, having earned victories on the road at Washington and Oregon. The Bears have a balanced offense, with four players averaging in double figures: Allen Crabbe (16.0), Jorge Gutierrez (13.7), Justin Cobbs (12.6) and Harper Kemp (10.4). UCLA guard Lazeric Jones has made 19 of 31 shots with 21 assists in the Bruins’ last three games in the Sports Arena. UCLA’s defense has improved of late, but California leads the conference in field goal percentage (48.3%) and three-point field goal percentage (38.8%).
